Smoothie King Mentor and/or Painesville are locally owned stores, offering a fun work environment, flexible scheduling options, and, of course, free shift smoothies! If employees are willing to work at both locations (not required) it allows them to pick-up shifts more often, which can be a nice perk for those looking for more hours.

We are looking for candidates who like to stay busy at work and enjoy interacting with customers. We offer very simple and streamlined processes and procedures, making a job at Smoothie King quick to learn. We offer growth opportunities to Shift Lead positions, and even hire in for this role if it's the right candidate. We guarantee $12.50 - $13/hour after tips (it can be more, but never less), with a base rate of $11.50 - $12/hour before tips. We also offer weekly pay and a company 401(k) with a company match after 1 year of service.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Making custom-blended smoothies

• Friendly upselling of our nutritional supplements/enhancers

• Providing guests with information regarding our products

• Completing back-of-house prep of our fruits, vegetables, & powders

• Preparing and packaging delivery/pick-up orders

• Providing the best possible guest experience

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Energetic and dynamic individuals

• Strong customer service skills

• Willingness to learn Smoothie King’s products

KEY COMPETENCIES/CHARACTERISTICS:

• Ability to remain positive and calm under stressful conditions

• Exhibits clean, neat, and professional image at all times

• Physical requirements: Able to lift and carry 30+ pounds several times per shift

• Ability to read, decipher colors, and understand recipes

• Must have sufficient mobility to move and/or operate in work area

• Bending, turning, twisting upper body, and reaching throughout the workday

• Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for long periods of time

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• No experience necessary, we’ll teach you everything you need to know!
