Responsibilities:
- Design and make floral arrangements (hand bouquets, flower stands, vase arrangements, centerpieces, hampers) adhering to our pricing and costing guidelines.
- Ideate and prepare client proposals, making recommendations on flower mix and arrangement style based on the client’s brief, style preferences, budget, and occasion.
- Answer customers’ questions / enquiries via email and phone.
- Learn our house style of wrapping bouquets and be able to do so effectively and efficiently.
- Ensure all creative tasks are carried out to meet deadlines.
- Assist with flower care responsibilities, maintaining the floral fridge as required
- Optimise use of flowers to minimise wastage.
- Monitor inventory levels and reorder supplies.
- Help to maintain the cleanliness of the floral studio.
- Any other duties that may be assigned.
Requirements:
- Has a strong interest in floristry.
- Having Certification in Floristry or having work experience as a Florist is preferred but not necessary.
- Possess knowledge of floral varieties and skills in floral techniques.
- Has corporate experience dealing with customer.
- Good verbal communication and customer service skills.
- Able to work independently and in a team.
- Have good work ethics, initiative and willingness to learn.
- Willing to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.
- Hourly pay rates: $10 - $12 on weekdays & weekends, $11 - $13 on public holidays, depending on skills and experience.
- Working location: Citilink Warehouse, Pasir Panjang.
