We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Baker to join our Bread House team. This role is responsible for preparing high-quality baked goods from scratch, including fresh doughs and artisan breads, as well as producing house-made butter and other bakery essentials. The ideal candidate is passionate about baking, takes pride in craftsmanship, and thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
What We’re Looking For:
We are currently looking for a full-time employee who meets the following requirements:
• Able to work 40 hours per week
• 18 years of age or older
• Able to start at 5:00 AM
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining high product standards
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with a strong attention to detail
• Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
• Dedicated to providing excellent customer service
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare, mix, and proof fresh dough for a variety of bread products, including loaves, rolls, sourdough, and specialty breads
• Operate and maintain bakery equipment such as mixers, ovens, proofers, and dough dividers
• Bake breads and ensure consistency in quality, texture, and presentation
• Produce small-batch, house-made butter using traditional methods
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering ingredients and supplies as needed
• Follow recipes and scaling procedures accurately to maintain quality standards
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment in compliance with food safety regulations
• Label and package baked goods for display and sale
• Work collaboratively with the bakery team to meet production goals and fulfill customer orders
• Provide excellent customer service when interacting with guests on the sales floor
• Ability to work a full-time schedule between 4am and 1pm

Qualifications:
• Previous baking experience in a commercial or retail setting strongly preferred
• Knowledge of bread baking techniques, fermentation, and proofing methods
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality
• Understanding of food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Positive attitude and strong communication skills
