Job Position: Stocking Crew Supervisor
Reports to: Store Manager & Store Supervisor/Management Team

Position Philosophy:
The Sales Stocking Crew Supervisors primary responsibility is to ensure that all freight is put away in a safe and efficient manner. The Stocking Crew Supervisor is responsible for leading associates involved with putting away freight & any daily tasks as assigned by the Store Manager. The Stocking Crew Supervisor will be responsible for the upkeep of the store while still contributing to the overall store safety and cleanliness. The Stocking Crew Supervisor position will ensure that the Owenhouse Best Practices in stocking, pricing, merchandising and maintenance of merchandise presentation are trained to and followed on a daily, weekly basis by the Stocking Crew. This position is responsible for the safety, delegation and achievement of tasks by the Stocking Crew Team.

Benefits Package:
REQUIRED Part time shifts are: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday 2PM-9PM or 3PM-10PM.
Weekends & Wednesdays off. Possibility of working up to Full Time status.
Position starts at $20.00-$23.00/hr. DOE + Bonus

Store Operations & Team Leadership:
- Provide a positive representation of Owenhouse Ace Hardware.
- Possess a friendly outgoing demeanor.
- Work well with associates as well as customers.
- Possess strong product knowledge and knowledge of store layout and location of products.
- Assist in creating a positive, professional and safe work environment.
- Assist with stocking of merchandise throughout the store.
- Assist with stocking of back stock.
- Assist with providing a clean and orderly sales floor.
- Proficiently Front & Face
- Participate and run daily Stocking Crew Huddles on Dexter with goals and expectations for each shift communicated.
- Responsible for assigning tasks on Dexter. Ensuring that all employees are completing the assigned tasks on a daily basis.
- Enforce safety policies and procedures and be a safety role model.
- Ensure that employees are in the appropriate places and doing the appropriate tasks as assigned.
- The Stocking Crew Supervisor is required to be on the floor working side by side with the stocking crew team being a good example of all of the Owenhouse Best Practices & Core Values.
- Be professional in appearance and actions.

- Good verbal and written communication skills ability to handle projects and tasks with a high attention to detail
- Knowledge of computer systems is a plus
- Ability and willingness to work flexible hours if needed to meet the needs of the business

Other Essential Requirements:
- High School or GED equivalent.
Experience:
- Leadership experience preferred but not required.
- Retail stocking experience preferred but not required.
- Customer service experience preferred but not required.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be in good physical condition and work wisely.
- Unloading of freight is to be accomplished safely, carefully, and quickly with care not to injure stock or self.
- Must be physically able to lift and handle a minimum of 50lbs.
- Proper lifting procedures must be followed at all times
- Ability to bend and twist, push and pull, stoop, and kneel.
- Ability to ascend and descend a ladder.
- Ability to work at heights.
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
- Ability to hear, understand and communicate orally and in writing to staff.
