The Dishwasher/Porter/Kitchen Hand position is foundational to supporting the other roles during sessions to ensure stations are stocked, clean small wares are available for the guests, and the store is in pristine condition.


* Clean restrooms, remove trash, and sweep floors

Supervisory Responsibility:
* This position does not supervise others.

Schedule:
* Most Shifts are Thursday nights; Friday mornings and nights, and Saturday mornings.
* Some weekday shifts may be available, depending on availability.
* As long as you can work at least 4 hours a week, we can work with your schedule.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities::

* Monitor and replenish ingredients
* Maintain backup bins of ingredients
* Assists guests to bring purchase to cars
* Following sessions; clean stations, and reset store to schematics
* When applicable, seal appropriate ingredients for proper storage
* Wash dishes and restock small wares

Requirements - Language:

* Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
* Ability to speak effectively with customers or employees of organization
* Ability to read, follow, and have working knowledge of general food handling

Requirements - Mathematics:

* Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
* Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Requirements - Reasoning:

* Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. * Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee will regularly work within the Dream Dinners store location. The employee must use hands to finger, handle, and feel. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus while creating recipes, working with food, ensuring cleanliness of the work surface, and reviewing recipes. The position will require using the telephone and computer while communicating with internal and external contacts. Employee will stand for several hours each day. The employee may occasionally lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
