ServiceMaster Restore® is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Construction Estimator to join our team. The Estimator will be responsible for assessing damages, preparing accurate estimates, and collaborating with clients, insurance adjusters, and internal team members to ensure successful restoration projects.

Requirements
- Experience in construction management, engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience as an estimator in the restoration or construction industry.
- Strong understanding of building materials, construction techniques, and restoration processes.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret technical information and drawings.
- Proficiency in estimating software preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with clients, insurance adjusters, and internal team members.
Job Description
The Estimator reports to the Construction Manager and should represent the company to the insurance
industry and their customers by providing accurate and timely estimates and scope reconstruction from losses.
Xactimate experience is highly recommended but we can teach. Responsibilities include:
- Inspect and scope jobs onsite-and work with homeowner to restore home
- Writes reconstruction estimates using Xactimate and Restore 365.
- Communicates conversations and key information on the job using the notes feature in required software
- Estimates using carrier audit standards and manages the estimate based on feedback from client and customer
- Communicates with Construction Manager to ensure all required documentation is complete (photos, notes and documents signed)
- Communicate w/ insurance companies, and adjusters via phone and email in a timely manner and acts as a liaison
- Manage all estimate documents and assess project risks
- Addresses estimate exceptions in a timely manner
