Job Description: We are currently seeking a dedicated and reliable dishwasher to join our team. As a dishwasher, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment. Your attention to detail and efficiency will contribute to the smooth operation of our kitchen and overall dining experience for our guests.
Responsibilities:
- Wash dishes, flatware, pots, and pans using industrial dishwasher or by hand as needed.
- Ensure that all dishes and utensils are thoroughly cleaned, sanitized, and properly stored.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area, including dish racks, sinks, and storage areas.
- Assist kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks when necessary.
- Adhere to all sanitation and safety procedures to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Handle and store all chemicals according to safety guidelines.
- Dispose of waste and recycling in designated areas.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient operation of the kitchen.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not required.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, such as dish racks and supplies.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Understanding of basic food safety principles is a plus.
