Chick-fil-A Service Technician - HVAC & Cooking Equipment
Applicants must be willing and able to travel to all Chick-fil-A locations in Southwest Florida (SWFL).
Responsibilities:
1. Diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of HVAC systems, including air conditioning units and heating systems.
2. Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC and cooking equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
3. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to air conditioning, heating, and cooking appliances.
4. Collaborate with restaurant area representatives to best understand and address various restaurants, located in close geographical proximity, specific needs and concerns.
5. Install, upgrade, and replace HVAC parts and cooking equipment components as needed.
6. Keep accurate records of service calls, repairs, and equipment specifications with a shared, user friendly service App.
7. Stay current on industry trends, new technologies, and relevant regulations to provide informed and effective solutions.
8. Provide excellent customer service, communicating effectively and professionally with all restaurant personnel.
9. Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while performing job duties.
10. Collaborate with restaurant Team Members/Owners and contribute to a positive work environment.
Requirements:
1. Proven experience as an HVAC technician with expertise in air conditioning and heating systems.
2. Familiarity with various cooking equipment and appliances.
3. Technical proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing HVAC and cooking equipment.
4. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
5. Excellent customer service and communication skills.
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
7. Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations.
8. Relevant certifications and licenses and have an interest to grow in knowledge base.
9. Physical ability to lift and move heavy equipment.
10. Availability for on-call and occasional weekend work.
11. Have the ability to travel between three counties.
12. Be able to work independently and to operate as a business, either LLC, Sole Proprietor etc.
13. Be able to work at least 40 hours per week.
