Job Summary:
Provide friendly, attentive service to create an exceptional dining experience for every guest by taking orders, offering recommendations when appropriate, handling payments, and serving food or drinks at the counter. Keep the checkout area clean, organized, and well-stocked, and complete all tasks on the opening and closing checklist.

Primary Activities and Responsibilities:
- Promote, work, and act in a manner consistent with the mission of King Mediterrano Brand Standards.
- Serve food, beverages, or desserts to customers.
- Take orders by utilizing our Point of Sales system and handling payments accordingly.
- Be able to count coins and cash correctly and give out change due to the customer.
- Maintain lobby area tidy and clean.
- Bag prepared food with great care and ensure order accuracy.
- Replenish and reload certain condiments, utensils, napkins at serving stations.
- Coordinate with and assist fellow employees to meet guests’ needs and support the operation of the restaurant.
- Fill-in for fellow employees where needed to ensure guest service standards.
Requirements
- Food Handlers Certification. Must be obtained within 30 days of hire. King Mediterrano will cover all costs associated with the training program and exam. All time spent in training and testing will be compensated at your regular hourly rate.

Applicants will also be expected to be able to work on their feet for several hours at a time and lift potentially heavy objects when necessary. Prior experience is preferred, but not necessary.
