Love Cooking? Come Grow With Us.
Hudson’s Restaurant & Catering is looking for experienced, creative, and dependable cooks who take pride in their craft and want to be part of a kitchen where their skills and ideas are valued.
We’re a family-owned, chef-driven restaurant where cooks have the opportunity to do more than simply work the same station and execute the same menu every day.
Between our year-round restaurant, Saturday brunch, weekly specials, catering, private events, seasonal menus, and immersive pop-up bars, there’s always something different happening in our kitchen.
If you love food, enjoy being creative, and want to continue developing your skills while working with an experienced culinary team, we’d like to meet you.
About Hudson’s
Hudson’s Restaurant & Catering is a family-owned and operated restaurant led by brothers JJ and Kevin Altomare, graduates of The Culinary Institute of America.
For more than 19 years, we've built our business in Northeast Ohio around chef-driven food, creative menus, genuine hospitality, and memorable guest experiences.
In addition to our year-round restaurant and catering operation, we're home to our immersive seasonal concepts:
Nightmare Before Blitzen’s • Blitzen’s • O’Blitzen’s
These experiences completely transform our restaurant with unique menus, specialty cocktails, elaborate décor, and high-volume service.
For our culinary team, that means opportunities to work with different menus, ingredients, techniques, and styles of service throughout the year.
A True Teaching Kitchen
Between our ownership and culinary management team, Hudson’s has more than 90 years of combined culinary experience.
We believe that knowledge should be shared.
Whether you're looking to strengthen your fundamentals, master another station, become a better-rounded cook, or eventually move into kitchen leadership, there are people here who can help you grow.
Depending on your experience and goals, you'll have opportunities to develop skills in:
- Sauté, grill, fry, and other stations
- Breakfast and brunch cookery
- Knife skills and fabrication
- Meat and seafood cookery
- Stocks, soups, and sauces
- Prep and production
- Plating and presentation
- Catering and private-event production
- High-volume execution
- Menu development
- Food costing and portion control
- Kitchen organization and leadership
If you want to learn, we'll teach. If you want to grow, we'll give you opportunities to prove yourself.
Bring Your Creativity
One of the things we're most proud of at Hudson’s is that our kitchen staff has a voice.
Our specials change weekly, and the creativity comes from our culinary team collaborating, sharing ideas, and developing dishes together.
Have a dish you've been wanting to create?
Want to experiment with a different ingredient or technique?
