As a C-Store Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our store. You will be responsible for opening and closing the store, delegating responsibilities to staff, and ensuring that all policies and procedures are followed. Your excellent customer service skills will be put to use as you handle customer complaints and strive to create a positive shopping experience.


Responsibilities:

• Understand and follow all policies and procedures

• Oversee day-to-day activities of subordinates and assign responsibilities

• Train employees and provide ongoing support

• Work with customers to ensure satisfaction in areas such as quality, service, and problem resolution

• Comply with all company safety and risk management policies and procedures

• Participate in regular safety meetings, training, and hazard assessments

• Maintain high standards for work areas and appearance

• Communicate with co-workers and other departments with professionalism and respect

• Accurately handle cash transactions

• Ensure staff accountability to policies and procedures

• Report any issues to Assistant Manager/Team Lead

• Other duties as assigned




Requirements:

• Reading, writing, basic math and verbal communication skills required

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).

• 1 year of previous work experience in retail, convenience store environment.

• Excellent communication and customer service skills

• Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities

• Ability to multitask, be a self-starter, and complete tasks in a timely manner





Working Conditions: Work is generally performed in a retail/store setting.

• This employee has direct and frequent contact with customers.

• Tasks are performed in all areas inside and outside of the store and can include exposure to extreme temperatures (both hot and cold), vapors, fumes, high humidity, and household chemicals for short periods routinely, and for longer periods.

• The noise level is generally moderate.

• Work can include long hours on all shifts, weekends and holidays, on-call availability.





Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to:

• Stand for an entire shift/extended period of time

• Walk

• use hands and fingers to handle, and feel

• reach with hands and arms; and talk and hear.

• Occasionally required to sit

• Bend, stoop, lift, shake, stir, pour, carry, push, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

• Must regularly lift and/or move 20 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

• Must be able to occasionally climb and descend ladders
