Merchandising Support-United Quality Cooperative
Job Purpose
The Merchandising Support role at United Quality Cooperative is designed to ensure the seamless flow of products from delivery to display, maintaining the visual and operational standards of the sales floor. This position is integral to supporting the overall merchandising strategy and enhancing customer satisfaction through efficient stock management and presentation.
Key Responsibilities
• Maintain stock levels of all trucks delivered to the facility, ensuring timely and accurate inventory management.
• Keep shelves neat, well-stocked, and organized, adhering to company standards for product presentation.
• Unload delivery trucks efficiently and safely, ensuring all products are accounted for and stored appropriately.
• Assist in maintaining the integrity of the planogram, ensuring that product placement aligns with merchandising plans.
• Support the overall needs of the sales floor, providing assistance where needed to ensure optimal customer experience.
• Perform other duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability to meet the dynamic needs of the retail environment.
Required Education:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
Required Experience:
• Previous experience in a retail or merchandising environment is preferred.
• Experience in handling inventory and stock management is preferred.
Required Skills and Abilities:
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as standing for extended periods, walking, bending, and kneeling repetitively throughout the shift.
• Proficiency in operating a pallet jack.
• Capability to work in cooler/freezer environments for stocking purposes.
• Strong ability to work independently or collaboratively as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain the integrity of planograms.
• Effective communication skills to support overall sales floor needs and perform other duties as assigned.
