Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Delivery Driver/Warehouse Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent driving records, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. This position requires someone who can work in a fast-paced environment and ensure the timely and safe delivery of goods to our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Transport and deliver goods to customers in a timely manner using company vehicles.
- Ensure all deliveries are conducted safely and securely, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Assist in the loading and unloading of goods from trucks and vans.
- Perform warehouse duties such as inventory management, stock replenishment, and general upkeep.
- Utilize basic computer skills for order tracking, inventory management, and communication.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including obtaining customer signatures.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs.
- Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and customers.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check.
- Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office and inventory management systems.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift items weighing 50+ pounds for extended periods.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Previous experience in delivery driving or warehouse operations is a plus.
Work Environment
This position involves working in both warehouse and driving environments. The candidate must be
comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions and be capable of
performing physically demanding tasks.
