We are seeking a motivated Regional Director of People and Culture to lead HR strategies across their regon. This role offers the chance to develop your skills in employee relations, talent management, and union activities while working in a supportive and fast-paced Protective & Security industry environment.
Regional HR Leadership & Team Management
Lead, develop, and oversee a regional HR team, including HR Business Partners and HR Generalists, ensuring consistent delivery of HR services and alignment with organizational priorities across all locations.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Talent & Workforce Planning
- Partner with operations and business leaders to drive workforce planning, recruitment strategies, and talent pipeline development to support growth, contract demands, and operational excellence.
Employee Relations & Labor Strategy
- Provide expert guidance on complex employee relations matters, including investigations, conflict resolution, and grievance management. Lead and support union relations, including negotiations, contract administration, and maintaining productive labor partnerships where applicable.
Performance Management & Leadership Coaching
- Coach and advise leaders on performance management, employee development, and corrective action processes, ensuring consistency, fairness, and alignment with company standards.
HR Program Development & Implementation
- Design and implement scalable HR programs, policies, and initiatives (e.g., succession planning, engagement, retention, and communication strategies) that support a high-performing and engaged workforce.
Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure full compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws across the region. Partner with legal and leadership teams on audits, mediations, arbitrations, and other employment-related proceedings to mitigate risk.
Change Management & Organizational Effectiveness
- Lead and support organizational change initiatives, including restructures, integrations, and business transformations, ensuring thoughtful execution and clear communication.
Operational Excellence & HR Metrics
- Drive consistency and continuous improvement in HR operations by leveraging data, metrics, and insights to inform decision-making and enhance service delivery across the region.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (required)
- 5+ years progressive HR experience with at least 2 years in a leadership or regional HR role
- Strong conflict resolution, strategic thinking, and analytical skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and embrace change in a growing environment
- Experience with multi-state and unionized workforce preferred
