Duties/Responsibilities:
- Submit formal reports of each patrol performed
- Practices safe driving skills both on and off duty
- Maintains a highly visible presence observing and reporting unusual activity
- Conduct security checks and inspect building entrances and exits
- Patrol, inspect, and secure access areas into client's premises
- Lock and unlock areas according to schedule
- Conduct site safety and security inspections
- Document observations, activities, and actions completed
- Adapt and innovate for maximum efficiency
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Valid Driver License and clean driving record
- Effective communication in English, verbally and in writing
- Prior Law Enforcement or Military experience is a plus
- Able to pass drug screen and criminal background check
- Valid Drivers License with ability to pass MVR check
- Minimum age of 21
- High school Diploma or GED required
- Two years of experience in security, customer service or similar field
Physical Requirements:
- Able to walk, run, and climb stairs
- Tolerate exposure to outside elements for extended shifts
- Sufficient hearing to respond to verbal speech and alarms
- Able to stand, walk, and/or drive for up to 90% of a 12-hour shift
