We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Training Content Creator to design deliciously clear, fun, and loving educational content for our private security workforce. In this role, you will develop practical, learner-friendly training materials that support onboarding, compliance, and professional development. You'll gain valuable skills in instructional design, stakeholder collaboration, and content management while contributing to a meaningful mission.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, write, and maintain engaging onboarding, compliance, refresher, and job aid materials.
- Translate complex policies and procedures into clear, scenario-based learning content aligned with real-world workflows.
- Structure content using adult learning principles and instructional design best practices.
- Develop blended learning materials including eLearning, instructor-led training, microlearning, and quick-reference guides.
- Create assessments and knowledge checks to validate understanding and compliance.
Collaboration & Compliance
- Partner with Risk Management, Legal, HR, Operations, and external vendors to ensure content meets regulatory and safety standards.
- Maintain version control and audit-ready documentation for all training materials.
- Conduct SME interviews to capture operational realities and convert them into structured learning content.
- Align training materials with organizational standards, branding, and tone.
LMS & Continuous Improvement
- Upload and organize content within the Learning Management System (LMS) ensuring accurate course assignment and tracking.
- Support testing, quality assurance, and troubleshooting of learning content before rollout.
- Monitor learner feedback and completion data to continuously improve content quality and effectiveness.
- Maintain a content roadmap, retire outdated materials, and identify training gaps proactively.
Qualifications & Skills
- 1–3+ years of experience in instructional writing, content development, training, or technical writing.
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with the ability to simplify complex policies.
- Experience creating training content for diverse audiences, preferably in security, law enforcement, or compliance sectors.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and basic Excel; familiarity with LMS platforms such as Docebo and Articulate is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in Communications, Education, Instructional Design, or related fields.
