AFIMAC is seeking licensed Security Guards for an immediate opening on our project in Thunder Bay, Ontario.
Renumeration:
- $20.00 per hour before overtime
Shifts:
- Night shifts (8 p.m. - 8 a.m.)
- 12 hour shifts
- 3, 5 or 7 days per week (to be discussed)
- Weekend only shifts available
Position:
- Patrolling property
- Perimeter checks
- Ensuring no trespassing
- Report Writing
- Other duties as specified
Required Education, Skills and Qualifications
To be eligible to work for AFIMAC you must meet the following criteria:
- Possess a valid security guard license in the province of Ontario
- Valid Class G driver's license
- Strong deescalation skills
- Able to travel to Thunder Bay and be on-site for all shifts
- Flexibility to cover additional shifts when required.
- Ability to work 3-5 days per week: 12 hour shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Weekend only shift available (12 hour shifts)
- Able to sit, walk, stand for extended periods of time
- Able to read, write, and speak English
- Be a Canadian resident and legally entitled to work in Canada
- Previous experience dealing with confrontational situations and having the ability to de-escalate with little to no supervision
- Excellent report writing skills
