AFIMAC Canada is actively hiring Assemblers/General Labourers for upcoming work in Southern Ontario. This position will require you to work 12 hour shifts 5 days per week.
You will earn:
- $25.00 per hour before overtime
- Contract duration 1-120 days
- Hotel accommodation provided (when required)
- $30 diem (when lodging required)
- Travel up to 4 hours (when lodging required)
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Ability to assemble parts & components
- Assist with loading and unlading trucks
- Pack and unpack orders
- Stock Product
- Assist with shipping and receiving
Required Education, Skills and Qualifications:
- 1 year experience in a manufacturing environment (preferred)
- Ability to work 12 hour shifts
- Follow safety protocols and procedures.
- Ability to lift up to 50-lbs
- Ability to load and unload product
- Daily inventory counts
- Required to maintain a clean and orderly work area
- Good organizational and multi-tasking skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
- High School graduate or GED equivalency.
- The position requires a self-starter and highly motivated person capable of working with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
