Barista Job Description:
We are looking for a Full-Time/Part-Time Barista who is passionate about delivering exceptional hospitality with a positive attitude and strong work ethic. A type of employee that we have in mind is committed to the job and is eager to learn and receptive to feedback. This person should be an excellent communicator and team player with a growth-oriented mindset. A qualified candidate must be skilled in using various coffee preparation techniques, coffee brewing and grinding equipment, but must also be able to cater to our guests' needs, upsell when appropriate, and build long-lasting customer relationships.
Job Responsibilities:
Welcoming customers, informing them about the menu and any specials, answering questions, giving recommendations, and accepting orders and payments.
Preparing foods and beverages, such as baked goods and Indonesian snacks, grinding and blending coffee beans, brewing coffee and tea, and serving items to customers.
Cleaning, washing and restocking work and dining areas, restroom, employee room, emptying trash, sanitizing equipment and utensils.
Learning about brewing methods, beverage blends, food preparation, and presentation techniques to improve food quality.
Taking inventory and replenishing items in display cases, or behind the counter.
Working as part of a fun, high-energy team.
Following the Standard Operational Procedure for opening shift, mid shift and closing shift.
Complying to all food safety regulations and quality controls.
Providing excellent customer service by handling complaints, providing appropriate solutions for customers and following up to resolve any issues the customers experience.
