Kitchen Manager (Catering & High-Volume Operations)

We’re looking for a Kitchen Manager with catering and high-volume production experience to join our Jacksonville team and help lead back-of-house operations with heart, hustle, and high standards.

What You’ll Do

As a Kitchen Manager, you’ll be responsible for leading the BOH team and ensuring consistent food quality, cleanliness, and efficiency every day. You’ll play a key role in supporting catering, bulk production, and large-volume service while maintaining 4Rivers’ quality standards. You’ll work closely with the General Manager and FOH leadership to deliver an exceptional guest experience.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, train, and develop kitchen team members
  • Oversee food preparation to ensure quality, consistency, and presentation standards
  • Manage food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness (ServSafe standards)
  • Execute prep and production plans to support daily operations, catering orders, and peak-volume periods
  • Oversee high-volume production and batch cooking to support catering and large-format service
  • Collaborate with catering and operations teams to ensure on-time, accurate execution of orders
  • Manage inventory, ordering, food cost, and waste control
  • Maintain equipment and coordinate repairs as needed
  • Set the tone for a positive, respectful, and team-focused kitchen culture


What We’re Looking For

  • 2+ years of kitchen leadership or management experience in a catering-focused or high-volume restaurant environment
  • Proven experience overseeing large-batch prep, bulk production, catering execution, and in-house dining operations
  • Strong BOH knowledge with a hands-on leadership style
  • Ability to lead by example and work shoulder-to-shoulder with the team
  • Excellent organization, time management, and communication skills
  • Comfort balancing production demands with live restaurant service
  • Previous General Manager experience or a strong desire to grow into a GM role preferred
  • Passion for food, people, and service
  • Flexibility to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
