4Roots Director of Experiences and Creative Production
Orlando, FL | Full-Time Leadership Role
About 4Roots Farm
4Roots Farm is a nonprofit organization rooted in the belief that food is medicine, land is sacred, and community is essential. Through regenerative agriculture, education, culinary experiences, and community gathering, we cultivate healthier people, stronger communities, and a more sustainable future.
As our campus expands with the opening of the StoneBarn Event Center, Community Green, and Pavilion, 4Roots is becoming a destination for meaningful gatherings — from intimate farm dinners to large-scale community celebrations.
We are now seeking a Director of Experiences and Creative Production to lead this next chapter.
The Opportunity
This is not a traditional event planning role. The Director of Experiences is both a producer and a leader — someone who can imagine what’s possible and bring it to life with excellence, discipline, and heart.
You will be responsible for creating, producing, and executing experiences that reflect the soul of 4Roots, while also building the systems, team, and financial structure required to scale.
What You’ll Do
Lead & Build
• Build and lead the Experiences & Events department
• Hire, train, and mentor a talented team
• Establish systems, standards, and playbooks for excellence
Create & Produce
• Design and produce original 4Roots programming:
• Speaker series, concerts, and film nights
• Seasonal festivals and Christmas Village
• Farm dinners, cooking classes, and retreats
• Wellness, creative, and educational experiences
• Ensure every gathering feels intentional, beautiful, and aligned
Execute with Excellence
• Oversee planning and day-of execution for all campus events
• Manage vendors, production partners, rentals, and logistics
• Maintain exceptional hospitality and guest experience standards
Own the Business
• Own the Experiences department P&L
• Develop pricing, packages, and sponsorship opportunities
• Balance creativity with financial discipline
Activate the Campus
• Strategically program the StoneBarn, Pavilion, and Community Green
• Build seasonal and annual programming calendars
• Partner across Culinary, Farm, Education, and Development teams
Who You Are: You are equal parts visionary and executor.
You likely come from cultural institutions, festivals, or performance venues, high-end hospitality or experiential brands, or museums, culinary institutes, or community-centered organizations
You bring:
• 7+ years of experience leading complex events or experiences
• Proven people management and team-building skills
• Strong budgeting and financial acumen
• Exceptional attention to detail and taste
• Calm leadership under pressure
• A producer’s imagination and a director’s discipline
• A deep appreciation for mission-driven work
Compensation & Benefits
• Salary: $90,000 – $120,000
• Performance Bonus: 10–15% tied to results
• Benefits package includes health benefits, PTO, and holidays
• Opportunity to shape a growing destination campus from the ground up
