Dining Room Hostess Responsibilities :
- Warmly greet and welcome each guest as they enter the dining room.
- Make eye contact, speak enthusiastically, and create meaningful connections.
- Assist guests with seating, questions, and any dining needs throughout their visit.
- Anticipate guest needs and check in on tables to ensure satisfaction.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and inviting atmosphere in the dining room, play areas, and restrooms.
- Clean and sanitize tables, chairs, floors, restrooms, and high-touch areas throughout your shift.
- Empty trash, restock supplies, and promptly address spills or messes.
- Support overall front-of-house organization and presentation standards.
- Deliver meals to guests when needed, ensuring accuracy and care.
- Occasionally assist with front counter or register support during peak times.
- Communicate effectively with team members and leadership to keep operations flowing smoothly.
- Demonstrate adaptability and team-oriented work ethic every shift.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- A friendly, approachable attitude with a passion for hospitality.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and stay calm in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining cleanliness.
- Works well independently but also thrives within a team.
- Flexible availability, including weekends.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks (cleaning, lifting up to 40–50 lbs).
- Must have reliable attendance and a positive, service-oriented attitude.
