Key Responsibilities
- Provide professional and courteous guest service at all times
- Greet arriving guests with a warm and welcoming attitude
- Answer telephone calls courteously and efficiently
- Respond to inquiries about hotel services, local shopping, dining, entertainment, and travel directions
- Generate, confirm, cancel, and change guest reservations accurately
- Maintain records of room availability and guest accounts
- Assist guests with luggage during arrival and departure
- Compute bills, receive payments, and make change for guests
- Promote current hotel and franchise marketing programs
- Perform additional duties such as laundry as needed
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Good math and computer skills
- Ability to pass a drug test
- Physical ability to perform duties including walking, standing, lifting up to 50 pounds, and handling objects up to 25 pounds
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal
