Hotel Laundry Attendant - 3pm to 9pm

We're seeking a friendly and reliable laundry attendant to make sure our hotel guests are satisfied during their stay. We're looking for a motivated and enthusiastic team member whose responsibilities include washing and folding linens. You should ideally have experience with industrial washing products as well as the ability to lift 20 pounds or more on a consistent basis. This is an evening role.

Responsibilities:

• Place all laundry in the washer and add the cleaning agents as directed
• Sort all linens to identify stains and treat stains with proper cleaning products and methods
• Dry clothing and linens after each wash cycle according to the manufacturer's instructions
• Maintain inventory of all cleaning supplies and communicate needs to general manager
• Monitor all laundry equipment and notify the facilities manager of any maintenance requirements

Qualifications:

• 1 or more year as a laundry attendant, housekeeper or a similar role is strongly desired
• Experience with a variety of commercial cleaning products and techniques
• This position requires the ability to lift 20 or more pounds regularly
• Possesses a strong work ethic with exemplary organizational, time management, and communication skills
• Graduated high school, received GED or equivalent
• Able to work the overnight shift
