About the Position
Bartenders at Horsefeather are responsible for preparing cocktails and beverages with speed and precision, while also providing attentive, friendly service to guests seated at the bar and fulfilling tickets for the dining room. Our bar program is creative and dynamic, requiring strong technical skills, menu knowledge, and a desire to continually grow.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve cocktails, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages efficiently and accurately.
- Maintain a deep knowledge of our cocktail and food menu to guide guests confidently.
- Provide a warm and engaging bar experience while managing multiple guests and service tickets.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and restocking of the bar throughout service.
- Ensure proper cash handling, accurate check management, and responsible alcohol service.
- Support other team members during service to promote a collaborative work environment.

Minimum Requirements
- You must be 21 or older to apply
- Minimum 2 years of bartending experience in a cocktail-focused, high-volume environment.
- Familiarity with classic and contemporary cocktails, spirits, and bar techniques.
- Ability to multitask and remain calm and efficient during busy service periods.
- Proficiency with POS systems (Toast preferred).
- California Food Handler’s Card and RBS certification required.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Must be able to lift 50lbs and stand for extended periods of time
