Job Title: Overnight Restaurant Cleaner
Location: Chick-fil-A Champaign
Reports To: Operating Partner
Job Type: Full-Time (Overnight Shift)
Salary: $3,500 per month per person
Job Summary:
We are hiring two full-time Overnight Restaurant Cleaners to ensure the restaurant is clean, sanitized, and fully prepared for the next day’s operations. This is a key role for individuals who are dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently during overnight hours.
Work Schedule:
- 6 nights per week: Monday–Saturday
- Hours: 9:00 PM – 3:00 AM (or until work is completed — may finish earlier or later depending on the night)
- All Sundays off
- Major holidays off: Christmas Day and Thanksgiving
Key Responsibilities:
- Deep clean and sanitize restaurant floors, including kitchen, dining, and back-of-house areas
- Maintain clean and stocked restrooms
- Thoroughly clean and sanitize the kids’ play area
- Detail clean kitchen equipment (fryers, grills, prep tables, etc.)
- Wipe down and disinfect front-of-house equipment (beverage stations, counters, etc.)
- Wash dishes and utensils, following proper sanitation procedures
- Take out trash and recycling, and clean bins as needed
- Set up equipment and stations for the next day’s operations
Qualifications:
- Prior cleaning, janitorial, or kitchen experience preferred
- Ability to work overnight hours
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety and cleaning protocols
- Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work without direct supervision
Compensation & Benefits:
