Position Summary
The primary responsibilities of the Assembly position is to assemble products & delivering customer orders when needed.
Major Responsibilities
- Report directly to Manager
- If customer service is needed, please assist or ask sales associate for help.
- Assemble all products requiring assembly.
- Assist with putting up freight after to do list is done.
- Assist with the shoveling, sweeping and keeping outside area neat and clean.
- Assist with sharpening saw chains as needed.
- Attend store meetings as required.
- Complete daily to do list.
- Restock merchandise displays as they are depleted.
- Assist with carry out or delivering to customers' homes.
- Assist in receiving incoming merchandise.
- Make deliveries
- Conscious of shoplifting activity.
Minimum Requirements
- Valid driver’s license
- Commitment to service, excellence and customer satisfaction
- Skills/Knowledge: Ability to process information and/or merchandise through register system
- Ability to communicate with associates and customers
- Solid team player with excellent interpersonal skills with a strong willingness to learn.
- Exceptional organization ability, high attending to detail and ability to multitask.
- Ability and willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays to meet the needs of business.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for an extended period of time
- Move and handle boxes of merchandise and fixtures throughout the store, which entails lifting and perform all functions set forth.
