George and Gather, Server Assistant Needed
Welcome to George & Gather, a new restaurant concept opening in downtown Chandler, February of 2025, serving delicious made from-scratch, organic and locally sourced dishes. We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic Server Assistant to join our team. In this position, you will play a crucial role in providing an exceptional dining experience for our guests. Join us in our beautifully restored mid-century building and be part of a team dedicated to using clean, organic ingredients while offering a nourishing and enjoyable dining experience.
Job Description/Responsibilities
- Support the service team to ensure a positive dining experience for our guests
- Set/re-set tables to company standards
- Set/re-stock service stations
- Clear plates and glassware from tables during service
- Ensure clean and organized dining and service areas
- Perform assigned side work duties as required
- Create a warm and welcoming energy to the team and guests
- Assist with any other needs that arise during service
Requirements
- Prior restaurant experience is preferred but not required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to communicate effectively with service staff, kitchen and guests
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays as required
- Maintain a professional appearance
