Position Overview
The Coffee Class is launching a new, standalone speakeasy style whiskey concept in Henderson’s Water St District, focused on premium spirits, innovation, and high level execution.
We are seeking a highly skilled Mixologist & Bar Manager to lead the development and operation of this concept from the ground up.
This role is for someone who wants to build a bar program at a high level from cocktail development to guest experience.
About the Concept
This is a new premium whiskey focused concept with an emphasis on:
- Curated and elevated whiskey selections
- Innovative, technique driven cocktails
- High standards of execution, consistency, and presentation
- A refined, speakeasy style guest experience
While backed by The Coffee Class, this concept will operate as its own distinct brand and experience.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a high level cocktail program centered around whiskey
- Will also develop company wide mocktails and coffee based drinks in addition to bar cocktails
- Lead the launch and daily operations of the concept
- Set and maintain standards for quality, presentation, and service
- Train and develop bar staff to meet elevated expectations
- Manage inventory, ordering, and cost controls
- Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations
Qualifications
- Strong, demonstrable whiskey knowledge
- Advanced mixology skills with experience building or contributing to cocktail programs
- Prior leadership experience in a high standard bar environment
- Ability to execute consistently at a high level during service
- Strong understanding of bar operations and cost control
- TAM Card
- Serve Safe Manager Certification
- Sheriff’s Card
Hiring Process
Qualified candidates will be required to demonstrate their mixology skills as part of the interview process.
This role is intended for experienced professionals capable of executing at a high level.
We emphasize energy, attitude and integrity in the hiring process. We’re looking for high character, high energy leaders first and foremost.
Compensation
- $30/hour
- Full tip pool participation (5 shifts/week)
Total earnings will scale with business volume and concept performance.
Based on comparable roles and projected volume, total earnings are expected to range from approximately $70K–$90K+, though this will vary as the concept grows.
