At Sugar Grove Ace, your local hardware store, we are seeking a experienced Retail Cashier with Bookkeeping knowledge and experience to join our team. As an independently owned and operated store, we pride ourselves on our personal touch and commitment to our customers. Responsibilities include:
- Record financial information, reconcile bank statements, process invoices
- Build & reconcile purchase orders, daily deposits and all accounts payable activities
- As a cashier maintain our high level of customer service, process customers quickly, accurately, and efficiently. Great and assist customers entering the store.
Minimum Requirements:
- High School degree, some college preferred. Knowledge of accounting or have attended relevant accounting courses with a willingness to learn.
- Experience in a retail environment cashiering, bookkeeping or back office.
- Excellent computer skills and retail computer systems. Experience and knowledge of QuickBooks, MS Word and Excel.
- Ability and willingness to work flexible hours to meet the needs of the business.
- A commitment to service, excellence and customer satisfaction. Solid team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
