Repossession Agent
RMS is seeking experienced and dependable Repossession Agents to join our growing team. This field-based position is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy working independently, and possess strong problem-solving skills. Repossession Agents are responsible for locating and recovering vehicles and equipment on behalf of financial institutions while adhering to all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Locate and recover vehicles, equipment, and other collateral assigned by clients.
- Conduct field investigations to identify asset locations.
- Safely secure and transport recovered assets when required.
- Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation of recovery activities.
- Communicate effectively with management, dispatch personnel, and team members.
- Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and company regulations governing repossession activities.
- Represent RMS professionally while interacting with customers, law enforcement agencies, and business partners.
- Perform routine inspections of company equipment and vehicles.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of repossession, towing, recovery, or related field experience required.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in the field.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Knowledge of repossession laws, regulations, and industry best practices is preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to work 10-hour shifts.
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and lift as required by job duties.
- Ability to operate recovery equipment and vehicles safely.
