Dishwasher – Black Rock Bar & Grill

Position Summary
The Dishwasher plays a crucial role in keeping the Black Rock Bar & Grill kitchen running smoothly. You’ll maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace while supporting the kitchen team with dishwashing, basic cleaning tasks, and occasional food prep assistance. This position is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in keeping things spotless.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using industrial dishwashing equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dish area, including floors, sinks, and work surfaces.
- Follow proper sanitation and safety procedures at all times.
- Assist with trash removal, sweeping, mopping, and general kitchen cleanliness.
- Restock clean dishes and kitchen tools to their designated areas.
- Support kitchen staff with basic prep tasks when needed.
- Communicate effectively with cooks, servers, and management to ensure smooth operations.
- Handle equipment and cleaning chemicals safely and responsibly.
Qualifications
- No prior experience required—training provided.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions.
