Company: Little Blue Menu® is an innovative kitchen brand created by Chick-fil-A®. It’s inspired by the founder of Chick-fil-A, who tested different menu items and presented them on a blue menu at his first restaurant established in 1946. Through Little Blue Menu, guests can order Chick-fil-A favorites alongside soon-to-be favorites like wings, burgers, and whatever we cook up next. Little Blue Menu will offer digital ordering for pick-up, delivery and catering Monday through Saturday, with the restaurant closed on Sundays.

Opportunity:
We’re looking for a talented Marketing Ambassador who can support marketing projects for the benefit of our restaurant. This individual needs to be able to expand the brand via partnering with community leaders and the University of Maryland. The candidate must be capable of supporting local marketing events that create awareness of our restaurant and offerings. Ideally, the candidate must have passion for the “art” of marketing and have abundant ideas for building efficient strategies. In addition to this, the Marketing Ambassador will help develop outside sales of the business by growing the catering leg of the business. They need to be able to follow the vision of creating a culture of return for our guests. The goal is to partner with the Marketing Manager and cultivate the customer’s interest in our products and services in ways that strengthen our reputation and facilitate our exponential growth. Additionally, they will need to be a high level communicator who can partner with corporate oversight, as well as restaurant leaders.
Responsibilities:
- Execute efficient and intuitive marketing strategies.
- Grow outside sales and catering in the business.
- Coordinate with the restaurant leaders to ensure success in the catering aspects of the business.
- Support advertising/communication campaigns, exhibitions and promotional events.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a marketing intern or any other similar role.
- Good understanding of market research techniques, data analysis and statistics methods.
- Thorough knowledge of strategic planning principles and marketing practices.
- Proficient in MS Office and marketing software.
- Familiarity with social media and web analytics.
- Excellent communication and people skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Creativity and commercial awareness.
