Position Summary:
The Install Assistant supports the Lead Installer/Installation Crew in the safe and efficient installation of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This role is entry-level and provides hands-on training in the HVAC trade while ensuring high-quality service to customers.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with the installation of residential and/or commercial HVAC systems, including ductwork, furnaces, condensers, and ventilation equipment.
• Load, unload, and stage equipment, tools, and materials needed for each job.
• Measure, cut, and assemble ductwork or piping under supervision.
• Support lead installer with start-up, testing, and customer walkthroughs as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service by being professional, respectful, and courteous.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous construction, mechanical, or HVAC experience is a plus
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in varying conditions (heat, cold, confined spaces, heights).
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn trade skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Valid driver’s license
