John Moore is seeking to hire a Field Assistant to join our Pest Control Team.
As an assistant, you will exemplify high performance and assist the Team you’re on by assisting Pest Control technicians throughout the year.
In addition, you will be responsible for assisting the Manager as needed to support the Team. In this capacity, you must be prepared to “flex up” during
the company’s busy season. This position is an entry level and is seasonal with the possibility of becoming full-time.
It is the perfect opportunity for someone just getting into the Pest Control industry.
Job Summary:
As a field assistant you will utilize your strengths and our company training to:
- Complete our award-winning training to learn the skills and knowledge required to serve our customers
- Assist techs with Pest Control supplies, i.e... Ladders, traps, pesticides, etc.
- Prioritize safety in all responsibilities
- Operate a company vehicle safely and ensure cleanliness of the vehicle and equipment
- Conduct yourself with the utmost professionalism and integrity with customers and coworkers
- Inspect the interior and exterior of the customer’s property – don’t worry, we will teach you how!
Minimum Requirements:
- No experience required – we will train you
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Valid driver’s license (Clean driving record)
- Ability to work and interact with our customers inside their business and/or homes
Candidates must meet physical requirements and safely perform the job duties with or without accommodation:
- Safely use a ladder within the manufacturer’s weight capacity
- Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Safely access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, roof tops, etc. including the ability to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
- Wear personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Willing to work in different types of weather conditions
