Job Description:
The primary duties for this position include
performing diagnostic tests on service vehicles and equipment to find faults,
analyzing diagnostic test results, and repairing or replacing any parts or
issues.
Responsibilities:
- Running diagnostic tests on vehicles and analyzing results.
- Steering mechanisms and braking systems.
- Checking vehicle lighting systems.
- Test driving vehicles to gauge performance.
- Performing preventative maintenance.
- Maintaining detailed records.
- Adhering to an inspection procedure checklist.
- Performs light repairs, including equipment repairs and assigned preventive maintenance services.
- Conducts safety checks on vehicles and equipment.
- Reviews and completes repairs shown on Driver Vehicle Inspectionand Issue Reports.
- Maintains a clean, safe work area.
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license.
- Advanced knowledge of engine components.
- Diagnostic skills.
- Ability to lift 50lbs repeatedly throughout the day.
- Proficiency with maintenance and repair tools.
- Attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Good organizational skills.
- Ability to work outside in all weather conditions.
