Overview

Crumbl Cookies is a renowned cookie and dessert company known for its innovative flavors and unique customer experience. As a General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing 1 of 6 quick service bakery outlets in all aspects of stocking, staffing, planning, operations, production, financial performance and customer service. Your role will involve managing a team of 25-40 dedicated dessert enthusiasts, ensuring exceptional customer service, Crumbl brand standards, and maintaining the highest standards of quality and cleanliness.


Ideal candidates will be able to demonstrate skills or prior 1-3 years of experience as an executive or head chief; general manager of a quick service restaurant; or retail bakery or other made from scratch production settings.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day stocking, staffing, operations and sales which meet franchise standards and production quotas.
  • Ensure smooth running quick service front of house with beyond exceptional customer experiences while serving professional quality desserts and that meets measured customer satisfaction metrics.
  • Hire, recruit, develop, train, terminate and supervise your crew according to local laws and company practices.
  • Maintain serve safe (Ohio's manager level 2) certification and high standards of cleanliness and food safety
  • Manage inventory, COGS, and order/pick-up supplies as needed from store, 3rd party and Crumbl warehouse.
  • Create weekly employee schedules, meet labor costs, and manage payroll
  • Implement good company practices to develop store cultures and discipline.
  • Execute marketing strategies to drive sales and increase brand awareness, grow business sales.

Crumbl bakeries operate from 8am to 10pm Monday - Thursday and 8am to 12am Friday & Saturday (Closed Sunday).

General Managers work varying shifts throughout the week to develop the team and improve operations.

Most General Managers work about 50 hours a week in store, with some hours at home, but depending on demand, holidays, and seasonality.


Qualifications (+1 year experience in the following required)

  • Independent manager role, preferably in the food and beverage industry
  • Recurring hiring, interviewing and selecting strong crew
  • Culinary training or equivalent experience in a scratch made production setting
  • Scheduling +30 crew weekly and labor cost management
  • Weekly menu planning, inventory and ordering
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Open availability - 45-60hrs per week seasonally (busy summers, slow winters, all Sundays off)
  • Understanding of good HR practices, breaks, termination and unemployment law
  • Serve Safe Certified / Ohio Manager Level II
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
  • Basic computer; spread sheets; email; and phone app skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
  • High school degree or equivalent
  • Trust worthy and reliability
  • Able to lift 50lbs repeatedly through out shift
  • Familiarity with apps such as WhenIwork; Workstream; Gmail; Sysco; Slack or equivalent a plus.
