We are looking for Experienced, bi-lingual Kitchen Leaders for our Nighttime Kitchen Operations Team who have a positive attitude and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.


Job Description and Duties

Chick-fil-A Kitchen Team Leaders possess positivity and diligence as well as excellent communication and decision-making skills. They perform food preparation duties including cooking and preparing menu items. Additional leadership duties include:

  • Maintain Chick-fil-A production standards at all times for service, quality and cleanliness. Holds the team accountable to standards and expectations. 
  • Maintain a safe and positive atmosphere for team members
  • Ensure that expectations and goals are being pursued
  • Maximize efficiency during peak times
  • Demonstrate the ability to lead by taking initiative
  • Train candidates for future leadership roles
  • Assist management in identifying trouble areas and brainstorming solutions and enforcing store policies and procedures

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE has food service leadership experience working in a fast-paced kitchen.


Requirements:

  • Must be bi-lingual, fluent in / capable of communicating effectively in Spanish and English 
  • Must have at least 2 years experience working in a fast-paced kitchen
  • Must have experience managing at least five people in a fast-paced kitchen
  • Must be able to work Saturdays
  • Must be able to work 2pm-11pm
  • Must have a flexible schedule and be able to work days and nights depending on the needs of the business
  • Must have reliable transportation

Must be physically fit and flexible to be able to:

  • work on your feet for at least 5 hours at a time
  • twist, turn, stoop and bend over
  • lift 50 lbs
  • walk while carrying heavy items, pushing trash carts, etc.

Salary and Compensation

This Leadership position offers compensation of $18 - $20 per hour, depending on level of leadership experience and ability to lead a team and produce results.
