Job Summary
The Cashier / Drive-Thru team member is responsible for providing fast, accurate, and friendly service to guests by taking orders, processing payments, and ensuring a smooth, efficient drive-thru and front-counter experience in a high-volume environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests promptly with a friendly, upbeat attitude
- Take accurate orders at the front counter and/or drive-thru
- Enter orders correctly into the POS system
- Communicate clearly with kitchen staff to ensure order accuracy and speed
- Process cash, credit, and digital payments accurately
- Assemble and hand off orders quickly and efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the counter, drive-thru, and work areas
- Address basic guest questions and resolve minor issues professionally
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and company procedures
- Support team members during peak and high-volume periods
Qualifications
- Previous cashier or customer service experience preferred but not required
- Friendly, positive attitude with strong guest service skills
- Ability to work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and multitasking skills
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Basic math and cash-handling skills
Schedule & Availability
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and busy periods
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to move quickly between stations
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced restaurant environment
