Responsibilities of a Dishwasher:
- Maintaining a clean and well-organized workstation
- Bussing tables to collect soiled plates and flatware
- Maintaining the availability of clean dishes at all times
- Cleaning kitchen appliances and other equipment
- Helping other team members to unload and store deliveries
- Empty, rinse and reline trash bins
- Sweep and mop all floors regularly to ensure they remain clean and dry
Skills and Qualifications
- Experience: No formal education or prior experience is required; short-term, on-the-job training is provided.
- Speed and Efficiency: Ability to work quickly and maintain a high pace.
- Attention to Detail: Ensures that assigned tasks are completed accurately as directed.
- Teamwork & Communication: Solid interpersonal skills to collaborate smoothly with team members and management.
- Sanitation Knowledge: A basic understanding of or willingness to learn food safety regulations.
- Flexible: must be able to work a flexible schedule to include holidays and weekends.
