Catering Team Member

Chick-fil-A Catering Team Member – Hospitality & Operations Pro

(Part Catering Expert, Part Restaurant MVP – Always Ready to Serve!)

Location: 2013 Magwood Drive Charleston, SC 29414

Schedule: Full-Time/Part-Time – Flexible, including weekends for events

Why This Role Matters:

Catering isn’t just orders—it’s delivering the Chick-fil-A experience beyond our doors. As a Catering Assistant, you’ll be the backbone of our offsite events, corporate deliveries, and large-scale orders—while jumping in to support the restaurant team when needed. If you love logistics, hospitality, and hands-on work, this is your stage.

Your Mission:

Catering Order Execution:

   - Take orders by phone/email, process transactions, and ensure flawless accuracy.

   - Prep, box, and bag meals with care and precision (no missing sauces or cold nuggets!).

   - Deliver orders to guests or businesses with white-glove hospitality.

Operations & Logistics:

   - Master our TMS bag inventory system—track, restock, and keep it audit-ready.

   - Build relationships with catering clients (remember names, preferences, and orders).

Restaurant Support:

   - Step into BOH (kitchen) or FOH (front counter & drive thru) roles when catering demand is low—flexibility is key.

   - Assist with in-house events, set up catering displays, and represent Chick-fil-A offsite with professionalism.

Problem-Solving:

   - Handle last-minute changes, special requests, or delivery hiccups with grace.

Non-Negotiables:

Hospitality Obsessed: You treat a $20 order and a $200 order with the same care.

Business-Minded: You notice opportunities to upsell, retain clients, and improve processes.

Physically Agile: Lift 40+ lbs, stand for hours, and move fast without sacrificing quality.

Detail-Oriented: You double-check orders like your reputation depends on it (because it does).

Team Player: No task is "beneath you"—whether it’s scrubbing a pan or schmoozing a client.

We Want You If You:

Thrive in chaos – You can pivot from catering prep to frying nuggets without missing a beat.

Love making connections – You remember the CFO who always orders 50 spicy sandwiches.

Take pride in unseen work – Perfect orders don’t happen by accident.

Want to grow – This role is a launchpad for leadership, sales, or operations careers.

Perks of the Role:

Variety – No two days are the same (catering, delivery, kitchen, events—you’ll do it all!).
