Rate of pay$13.5 per hour

NASCAR SpeedPark: PARC Pigeon Forge, LLC, a division of PARC Entertainment, LLC

(“PARC”), owns and operates the NASCAR SpeedPark in Sevierville, Tennessee. As an officially licensed attraction of the National Association for Stock Car Racing (“NASCAR”), the

park offers exciting side-by-side go-kart racing on eight tracks, together with amusement rides, miniature golf courses, rock climbing, bumper boats, an arcade and other family-oriented

What will you be doing? As an Admissions Team Member you will provide an excellent and

welcoming experience for our guests. You will complete their admissions transactions as well

as help guests to personalize their experience by sharing specials and packages. Assist guests with questions throughout their visit and keep the entrance area clean and neat. You will gain knowledge of our admissions products and processes and guest service.


Job Purpose: Provide service to guests who purchase admissions items as well as help the

guest personalize their experience through suggestive selling. Creating a welcoming first

impression, answer guests’ questions throughout the day and keep area clean and neat.


KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Demonstrate “People-First”:

  • Fully embrace the Company Service Excellence Initiative by demonstrating “people first” actions for all internal and external customers and accepting responsibility for demonstrating empowerment decisions and actions during daily work.
  • Adhere to Company ethical requirements, demonstrating the utmost integrity in all professional and personal matters
  • Respond to minor guests concerns in an effective manner looking for win-win solutions whenever possible; report to Department Management and/or MOD all serious guest situations, including any guest who is requesting a refund, angry/yelling/threatening, or alleging safety issues or improper conduct by a team member or guest.
  • Assist guests in their entertainment purchase selections.
  • Assist with merchandise, groups and redemption counter as needed.
  • Answer questions and offer suggestions to assist guests.
  • Explain requirements in a respectful, positive and proactive manner.
  • Share sales and special offers with guests to provide best options.

Demonstrate “Always Safe”:

  • Maintain a clean and sanitized work station.
  • Follow all safety and cleanliness standards and procedures.
  • Follow safe money-handling processes.
  • Use proper radio etiquette.
  • Report any unsafe or suspicious behavior quickly.

Demonstrate “Remember It’s Fun”:

  • Acknowledge birthdays and special occasions for guests.
  • Be enthusiastic and promote a friendly and fun atmosphere for our team members and guests.
  • Promote a mutually supportive, unified, “we are all on the same team” relationship with team members in all department and divisions.

Demonstrate “Commit to Excellence”:

  • Operate the POS system for the sale of tickets, annual credentials, and birthday parties.
  • Maintain balanced cash drawers.
  • Ensure professional development to enhance work knowledge, skills and abilities.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, rules, regulations, standards, guidelines, expectations and requirements.
  • Ensure completion of work responsibilities and special projects in accordance with the designated timeframe, as determined by the reporting leader.
  • Adhere to Company ethical requirements, demonstrating the utmost integrity in all professional and personal matters.
  • Provide reporting leader with feedback, ideas and suggestions on a timely basis.
  • Must be able to work flexible schedule on the needs of the business.
  • Whatever supervisor deems necessary for park operations.


SKILLS, REQUIREMENTS, AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Relationships - Demonstrated ability to advance PARC's "People First" core value, through the establishment of positive, respectful relationships and working effectively with all internal and external constituencies.
  • Required Education- Must be able to read, write, speak and follow instructions
  • Preferred Experience – 1-3 months
  • Certification/Licensure – None
  • Specific Vision Requirements – Color and peripheral vision, Close vision, distance vision, depth perception, ability to adjust focus.
  • Special Skills –Positive and effective customer service skills. Proficient in use of cash registers and Point of Sales (POS systems) and cash handling procedures. Ability to handle multiple tasks at one time.
