Rate of payUp to $13.5 per hour

NASCAR SpeedPark: PARC Pigeon Forge, LLC, a division of PARC Entertainment, LLC (“PARC”), owns and operates the NASCAR SpeedPark in Sevierville, Tennessee. As an officially licensed attraction of the National Association for Stock Car Racing (“NASCAR”), the park offers exciting side-by-side go-kart racing on eight tracks, together with amusement rides, miniature golf courses, rock climbing, bumper boats, an arcade and other family-oriented entertainment. What will you be doing? Provide friendly, helpful service to guests who purchase food and beverage items. Assist and process guest orders. Prepare and serve food in a safe and appealing manner. Keep the food area clean and organized.


Job Purpose: Provide an excellent guest experience to guests who are purchasing food and beverage items. Assisting and processing the guests order and preparing and serving food in a safe and appealing manner. Keeping the foods service areas clean and organized.


KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Demonstrate “People-First”:

  • Fully embrace the Company Service Excellence Initiative by demonstrating “people first” actions for all internal and external customers and accepting responsibility for demonstrating empowerment decisions and actions during daily work.
  • Adhere to Company ethical requirements, demonstrating the utmost integrity in all professional and personal matters.
  • Promote a Harassment-free workplace by minimizing gossip, treating all team members with respect and reporting inappropriate behavior or conversations that could be considered harassment or discriminatory.
  • Welcome guests
  • Assist guests with their order, informing them of specials and offers and giving them options.
  • Answer questions and offer suggestions to assist guests in having an excellent experience.

Demonstrate “Always Safe”:

  • Prepare food for sale while maintaining DHEC requirements.
  • Keep the food service area clean and orderly.
  • Follow appropriate food storage guidelines.
  • Properly use gloves and hand washing procedures.
  • Serve food that is cooked to the appropriate temperature.
  • Keep walkways clear of clutter and the floor clean, including quickly cleaning food or liquid spills.

Demonstrate “Remember It’s Fun”:

  • Be enthusiastic and promote a friendly and fun atmosphere for our team members and guests.
  • Promote a mutually supportive, unified, “we are all on the same team” relationship with team members in all department and divisions.

Demonstrate “Commit to Excellence”:

  • Take orders, help fill orders, and check all orders for accuracy.
  • Maintain adequate inventory in the food stand/kitchen.
  • Select food information and method of payment using POS system.
  • Receive payment for items and return change as necessary.
  • Load receipt printer as needed.
  • During slow times, prepare for busy times by making sure the drawer has enough change and the food area is properly stocked, prepared and clean.
  • Ensure professional development to enhance work knowledge, skills and abilities.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, rules, regulations, standards, guidelines, expectations and requirements.
  • Ensure completion of work responsibilities and special projects in accordance with the designated timeframe, as determined by the reporting leader.
  • Adhere to Company ethical requirements, demonstrating the utmost integrity in all professional and personal matters.
  • Provide reporting leader with feedback, ideas and suggestions on a timely basis.
  • Must be able to work flexible schedule on the needs of the business.
  • Duties supervisor deems necessary for park operations.

SKILLS, REQUIREMENTS, AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Required Education- Able to read, write and follow instructions
  • Preferred Experience – none
  • Certification/Licensure – none necessary, ServSafe preferred
  • Specific Vision Requirements – Color and peripheral vision, Close vision, distance vision, depth perception, ability to adjust focus.
  • Special Skills –Positive and effective customer service skills. Able to operate a POS/ cash register and follow all cash-handling procedures. Ability to handle multiple tasks at one time. Excellent organizational and communication Skills. Excellent Customer Service.

  • The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to twenty-five (25) pounds, occasionally lift and/or move up to thirty-five (35) pounds, and occasionally heavier loads.
  • The noise level is moderate to loud.
  • Must be comfortable working around and with fryers, grills, etc.
  • Occasionally the employee is exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time, and exposed to heat from cooking equipment and cold from the freezer or refrigerator.
