Job Description:
As a Food Service Intern at NASCAR SpeedPark, you will gain hands-on experience in various aspects of food service operations, including guest service, food preparation, and concessions. You’ll work closely with the Manager on Duty and Foods Leaders to support the team in delivering a fun, safe, and memorable dining experience for our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist guests with food purchases and answer questions.
- Operate POS and cash register systems.
- Prepare a variety of foods following safety and quality standards.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and proper stock levels in public areas.
- Assist Foods Manager with inventory, break schedules, weekly schedules, placements, and more.
- Learn how to complete food orders and how to efficiently run a theme park food service department during busy and slow times.
- Complete an optional intern project that provides a valuable learning experience and contributes to team improvements.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a college degree.
- Customer service skills and ability to handle multiple tasks.
- Familiarity with cash handling and POS systems is preferred.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
