What You’ll Be Doing
As a Shift Lead, you will play a key role in overseeing daily operations and supporting the team while ensuring customers receive outstanding service.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Supervising employees and helping create shift schedules
• Monitoring team performance to ensure efficient workflows
• Reporting any issues during the shift to management
• Coaching team members and training new staff
• Managing daily cash intake, opening/closing registers and preparing deposits
• Handling customer concerns and employee disputes
• Running the register and assisting customers
• Mixing dough and preparing ingredients
• Balling and portioning dough
• Decorating cookies and desserts
• Preparing catering orders
• Folding boxes and packaging treats
• Answering phones and assisting with orders
• Cleaning the store and washing dishes
• Supporting the team to keep the bakery running smoothly
What We’re Looking For
• Must be 18 years or older
• Must be legally eligible to work in the United States
• Open availability Monday–Saturday
• Someone who helps create a positive, supportive, and family-like work culture
• A positive attitude and great smile that helps uplift both customers and teammates
• A leader who enjoys encouraging, mentoring, and celebrating their team
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Excellent time management and organization
• Ability to motivate and support a team in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Basic math and computer skills
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, warm kitchen environment
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
