Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate knowledge of appropriate responses to changes in patient condition.
- Maintain an in-depth knowledge of complex diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular equipment/supplies and be capable of assisting with their use.
- Participate in the Interventional Radiology Division quality assessment and improvement program.
- Develop team dynamics and foster teamwork.
- Consistently demonstrate the behaviors as outlined in the C.A.R.E.
- Perform all technical duties and responsibilities during each procedure to provide a timely and well-organized exam.
- Document patients' clinical history on correct forms to provide clinical information for cardiologists and/or performing physicians.
- Stock and prepare the Cardiac Catheterization Lab suites for each procedure to ensure that all necessary supplies and equipment are readily available and in optimal working condition.
- Consult with physicians and nursing personnel and review patient charts regarding history and procedure to provide a clinical history.
- Ensure images are submitted to Heart Lab or PACs systems for cardiologists or performing physicians' review and reporting to provide documentation of procedures and timely reports.
Qualifications:
- RT(ARRT) credential
- Minimum 3 years of experience as an RT/ARRT
- Experience with EPIC/Siemens Sensis IR
