We have an exciting PTA contract opportunity at a forensic psych facility. The PTA will work under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist to help patients improve mobility, strength, and functional ability.
Responsibilities
- Carry out treatment plans as directed by the Physical Therapist.
- Lead therapeutic exercises, mobility training, and functional activities.
- Monitor patient progress and report changes to the PT.
- Document services per facility standards.
- Follow safety and security protocols in a forensic environment.
Qualifications
- Active California PTA license.
- Experience in hospital, rehab, or similar clinical setting.
- Ability to work safely and professionally in a secure facility.
