Pay & Opportunities:
Ages 18+: $17.50/hour + tips
Ages 16–17: $17.00/hour + tips
Promoted positions may be available after rejoining, especially for crew with strong availability and leadership skills. Pay varies based on role and location.

- Guest interaction to an exceptional level

Uniform & Grooming Updates:
Boardwalk policies remain strict, with a few updates:
One small nose stud or small side nose ring allowed
✘ No septum or additional facial piercings
Tattoos must be family-friendly and not on face or head
✘ Blue denim is no longer allowed
Fingernails, jewelry, flash eyelashes, etc. should be conservative as anything in excess is NOT safe for foodservice.

Scheduling Expectations
Weekend availability is essential.
All crew should expect to work some evening shifts to help keep schedules fair.
Weekday shifts increase as Spring Break arrive and, of course, as the summer season ramps up.
Training Thoughts:
Part of being rehired at Whiting’s Foods is making sure that all your training is current. As a reminder, we provide access to all these trainings, and you are PAID for the time spent in the courses.
Responsible Beverage Service (RBS)
- Required for crew 18+ who sell beer or wine
- Certification expires every 3 years (so you may still be current!)
- Shifts will NOT happen if this is NOT provided or has expired
Food Handler Card (FHC)
- Required for ALL
- Certification expires every 3 years (so you may still be current!)
- Shifts will NOT happen if this has expired
Harassment Prevention Training
- Required for all crew
- Completed through the Whiting’s Learning Portal
- Expires every 2 years and we run trainings in July and December
- Shifts CAN happen since we train only twice a year
Workplace Violence Prevention Plan
- Required for all crew
- Completed through the Whiting’s Learning Portal
- Expires annually and all Crew are assigned the course once a year
- Shifts CAN happen since we train only once a year
