Rhubarb is a chef-driven, farm-to-table restaurant in the heart of downtown Asheville serving modern Appalachian cuisine with genuine hospitality. What does that mean? That at Rhubarb, we believe in people-first hospitality from our employees to our farm partners to our guests. We are hiring a Dish Machine Operator, but the person will always come before the role.
The Person
As a Dishwasher at Rhubarb, you believe in doing what is right, not just what is easy. You are a calm person and enjoy working in a small team. You are autonomous and can get the job done with minimal supervision.
The Role
- Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the dish pit: running dish, glass and silver-ware through the machine, using the 3-bay sink as needed, and keeping clean wares stored and organized
- Taking out trash, linens as needed
- Keeping the line well-stocked with clean plates and pans
The Qualifications
- Evening availability
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Lift up to 50lbs
- Great taste in music
