HR Generalist/Recruiter

Job Description & Reporting

The Recruiter/HR Generalist plays an essential role in our

continuous mission to attract and retain the best A+ Breadheads (employees)

available to support our teams. This position is responsible for developing,

maintaining, reporting and continuously evaluating our recruiting efforts for

all positions, hourly through executive level salary team members. This

position is responsible for collaborating with the marketing and operations

teams to ensure that all projects fall in line with current needs, and match

current branding. In addition, the Recruiter/HR Generalist is responsible for

continuously maintaining and improving company culture, and retention

initiatives.


The Recruiter/HR Generalist is responsible for attending to

all general human resources functions including Breadhead relations, work place

injuries, leaves of absence, employment verification, health benefits

administration, general HR compliance, and other HR situations as needed. The

position has a “5 days x 8 hours” schedule throughout the week however can

require on call attention to incidents in real time, outside of normal office

hours. The best candidate has excellent time management and can successfully

navigate awareness of monitoring situations outside of normal office hours.

This position reports to the Director of Operations and

collaborates with other leaders throughout the organization, mainly in

operations and marketing. This position often interacts with the Wildflower’s

founder regarding current and ongoing initiatives. The best candidate for this

position is a great multitasker, gets excited to work on challenging projects,

and has a passion for chasing perfection.


Responsibilities:

·       Source, screen, recruit and onboard A+ managers and/or office executives/support

·       Support hourly recruiting efforts by posting positions on job boards and attending local job fairs

·       Implement and manage company culture, values and policies

·       Prepare and provide weekly status reports for presentation at District Manager meetings

·       Work with operations leaders to determine development opportunities for managers, including career path planning

·       Facilitate regular meetings and new Breadhead orientations

·       Coordinate events focused on Breadhead recognition

·       Accurately maintain employee files and job descriptions by updating job requirements including new and revised job descriptions as needed

·       Prepare and send “Breadhead Updates” for biweekly newsletter

·       Review and provide guidance to management for all involuntary separations

·       Lead and participate in investigations and workplace injury management, including coordination with insurance/legal

·       Maintain compliance for all HR related items as required by law or industry requirements

·       Performs other duties as assigned including special projects

 

Qualifications:

·       Previous experience in recruiting

·       Ability to identify & source candidates through use of various techniques

·       Knowledge of labor and employment laws

·       Ability to build rapport with all employees

·       Effective planning, time/work management, conscientious, detail orientation

·       Business acumen, internet savvy, market knowledge; seeks to improve/enhance skills and abilities continuously

·       Strong organizational skills

·       Excellent written and verbal communication skills

·       Approach to work is enthusiastic, flexible, adaptable, and team oriented
